Halvetic

HALVETIC (UK)

A non selective herbicide for control of annual and perennial grass weeds and broad-leaved weeds in maize, stubbles, orchards, industrial, and non crop areas.

This systemic product is translocated through the leaves and shoots, reaching weed growth zones inhibiting their growth.

Halvetic innovation is based on the BGT Technology, which ensures maximum effectiveness of the product.

In addition BGT Technology is hard water independent, supporting the penetration of active substance through biological barriers maintaining high spray quality.

Halvetic does not require additivies for effectiveness.

EFFECTIVE
Highly effective for non-selective weed control
READY TO USE
Built-in adjuvant system – no additonal adjuvants needed
RELIABLE
Works also in adverse weather conditions
FUTURE-ORIENTED
Reduces consumption of the active substance without affecting the effectiveness of the treatment

Perfectly adapted to the needs of regenerative agricultural practices

Water- effective. Requires low volume of water from 100 to 150 litres per hectare

form of use

SL – concentrate for aqueous solution

Composition

glyphosate in the form of isopropylamine salt – 180g/l

MAPP NUMBER

21478

Dose

2.5-6.0 L/Ha

CROPS
  • Maize
  • Stubbles
  • Apple and Orchards
  • Non Arable, Industrial & Amenity Areas, Railways:
Effects

Systemic operation, intake through leaves, wheatgrass and woody bark

DOSE (L/HA)
2.5-3.0 L / Ha (pre emergence of the crop)
EFFECTS
A reddening then yellowing of the weeds/foliage will be noticeable in grass weeds 7-10 days after application, taking longer to appear on broad leaved weeds (2-4 weeks post application)
CROPS AND SAFETY DEADLINES
  • Control of perennial grass weeds: Weeds must be actively growing
  • Control of common couch grass: Most susceptible to HALVETIC® when it is tillering and when new rhizomes have begun to grow (3-4 leaves, each with approximately 10-25cm of new growth).
  • Control of annual weeds: Should be actively growing with grasses having at least 5cm of leaf and broad-leaved weeds at least two expanded true leaves when sprayed.
  • Applications of lime, fertilizer, farmyard manure, further pesticides or similar should be delayed until 5 days after application of HALVETIC®.
  • HALVETIC® has no long-lasting herbicidal activity in soils after application
  • Under normal weather conditions, cultivations may be continued 2 days post application where annual weeds are controlled, (5 days after application for perennial weeds)
  • In poor growing conditions wait for the characteristic red/yellow leaf symptoms to appear in the weed before cultivating
DOSE (L/HA)

2.5-4.0 L / Ha

of the following crop
